BOOKINGS
All programs can be booked through your travel agent. Reservations and confirmations are necessary for: Hotel packages. Private car services. Most of the tours. For late bookings of services, a service charge may be added.
PAYMENT
No service will be confirmed without a deposit of $250.00 or the entire amount due, whichever is smaller, at the time of booking. Full prepayment is due 60 days prior to the date of first service. For Mont Saint Michel Day Tours or Mont St. Michel overnights, full prepayment is required at the time of booking.
Children: When child prices are not indicated, please consult us or your travel agent.
Reservations / Confirmations / Payments: Advance confirmations are necessary for most of the tours. All tours and hotels are automatically reserved as long as your payment is received in our office at least two weeks prior to tour departure. No tour or hotel will be confirmed without a deposit of $ 250.00 or full prepayment. Payments received less than 14 days before the first service must be by certified check, money order or credit card with signed authorization form. With each payment, please indicate passenger's names, date of service, means of arrival and contact (hotel) in Paris if applicable. All orders through Travel Agents will be charged a booking fee of up to 5% of the total cost of the booking.
HOTELS, MEALS, LUGGAGE
Packages and hotel accommodations according to category selected at hotels listed (or similar). For tours, per person prices are based on two persons sharing a room. Singles available at additional cost. For tours or packages, substitute hotels may be used but will be of similar qualty to hotels listed. Meals are included only when indicated.
NOT INCLUDED
Passport and visa fees, if any, airport taxes, meals unless otherwise specified, drinks and any other item of personal nature. Accident / luggage or cancellation insurance is not included but it is available and recommended.
CANCELLATIONS / REFUND
Once a deposit is received, a reservation confirmation is made, final payment is due 60 days prior to tour departure. If a cancellation is made after deposit but before the 60 day period, all deposits are returned except $50 per person for tours ($25 per person for day tours) Within 60 days, but more than 45 days, all of deposits are retained ($25 per person for day tours), and within 45 days additional penalties may apply, up to 100% of tour costs. No refunds are available once the trip commences. Hotel cancellations are charged a $25 fee if canceled no later than 60 days before arrival. Penalties apply for any Hotel cancellations made within 60 days of arrival. No Hotel refunds within 14 days of arrival.
THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS
Including weather or other factors beyond our control. We reserve the right to cancel any tour prior to departure for any reason, in which case a full refund will be processed. If the tour is cancelled within 45 days of departure, an additional discount will be made for an alternative trip in addition to the full refund. Shippings charges, handling fees, cost of reissuing documents, extra expenses due to clients' specific request are not refundable.
REISSUE OF DOCUMENTS
In case of change of plan or loss, a $25.00 charge will be levied if vouchers have to be reissued plus any related expenses.
NO REFUND
For no-shows, any unused portion of feature of a tour or package. No claim or refund will be considered unless, upon completion of the tour or services, it has been brought to the attention of DiscoverBrittany or threedayweekends.com or YGB travel, who may be able to solve the problem. If necessary, follow by submitting your claim in writing to the USA office, no later than 30 days following completion of the tour or services.
RATES
All rates are quoted in US dollars and are subject to adjustment in case of any exchange rate fluctuation. The cost of planning and handling is included and rates do not necessarily correspond to the published rates of the respective establishments or services.
AIR AND TRAIN RESERVATIONS
Discount airfare can be arranged with our office. Airfare is a separate purchase unrelated in any contractual sense to the tour and is subject to airline rules and regulations. Train tickets can also be arranged, however certain restrictions exist for bicycle transport on TGV trains, please ask for information on baggage limits if traveling by TGV prior to purchasing tickets.
INSURANCE
Trip cancellation insurance is strongly recommended. This will protect you should you need to cancel for certain necessary reasons such as illness, and provides your refunds for air and tour in full. Additional insurance for baggage, health / accident is also strongly recommended. An insurance package mayl be included with your documentation after receipt of your deposit. Our preferred insurer is CSA who is well respected in the industry.
BICYCLE AND OTHER SPECIAL TOURS
Special conditions apply to bicycle tours, thallassotherapy packages and other trips of a unique nature. Please ask for the special terms and conditions which may apply to your trip.
RESPONSIBILITY
Discover Brittany and linkparis.com act as an agent in securing all aspects of these tours and hotel properties and is responsible to the participants for the arrangements, services and accommodations included only in such capacity. Discover Brittany and linkparis.com, its agents and / or employees shall not be responsible for personal injury or property damage arising out of the act of negligence of any direct or associated carrier, hotel or other person rendering services or accommodations; nor is Discover Brittany and linkparis.com responsible for injury, death, damage, loss or delay in any means of transportation or any event beyond the actual control of Discover Brittany and linkparis.com, its agents or suppliers or due to force majeure. In the event it becomes necessary or advisible, for any reason, to alter the itineraries or arrangements, such alterations may be made. Additional expenses, if any, will be paid by passengers, likewise, any savings will be shared by passengers. Discover Brittany and linkparis.com reserves the right to decline, accept or retain at any time, any person as a participant of any tour, or to cancel any tour. Instruction in equipment use is not provided. For bicycle tours, all participants affirm they are familiar with the operation of a multispeed bicycle and understand that helmets are required. The tickets, coupons, tarifs, rules or contracts currently in use with any carrier, hotel, restaurant or other contractors rendering or providing service shall constitute the sole contract between such contractor and the tour member. Further, the sponsoring organization and / or their agents and suppliers accept no responsibility for any damage, delay or irregularity, expenses or liability, arising from sickness, pilferage, labor disputes, machinery breakdown, quarantine, governement restraints, war, weather conditions, defect in any vehicle of transportation or for any misadvenure or casualty or any other cause beyond their personal control nor for any additional expenses or damage due to changes in advertised schedules or services or any other cause outside of their control. Any and all losses, expenses will be borne by the tour member, the our rates being only for the time period and the places specified. All accommodations, services and facilities are subject to the laws of the countries in which these accommodations and facilities are rendered. The right is reserved to cancel or change itineraries or substitute services without notice and to decline, to accept or retain any tour members at any time, without being under any obligation whatsoever to assign any reason therefore. In the event the exercice of this right, the Tour Operator shall be under no liability to such person (s) save to refund any monies received by the Tour Operator or, where the tour package or trip has already commenced, to refund such amounts as the Tour Operator in its absolute and uncontrolled discretion deems reasonable to attribute to the uncompleted portion of the tour package or trip. All information contained in this brochure is given in good faith based on information, itineraries, departure dates, prices, etc; available at time of printing the brochure and are subject to change. The tour participant will bear all responsibilities for costs damages and expenses resulting from his failure to obtain a valid passport and visa(s) as required by the laws of the countri (es) of destination. The issueance and acceptance of receipts, tickets, vouchers and / or coupons shall be deemed the consent to and the acceptance of the foregoing conditions
